Cannonball Run – Community Barbecue – Concert!
Saturday, June 25th – The Brandon Sports and Aquatic Center (BSAC)
Get ready for the community event of all community events! The Brandon Sports and Aquatic Center hosts a day of fun, festivities and music in support of its Executive Director, Chuck Burgess, as he raises funds to try and become Brandon’s next Honorary Mayor.
The early evening starts out with a 5K/1-Mile Fun run for the serious runner, those wanting to do a 5K for the first time, companies and groups wanting to raise money and walk/run together or families wanting a great “together” moment to make a difference. The one mile fun run for the kids will definitely lend itself to teaching kids about giving back!
Next up is some of the best barbecue Brandon has to offer while local celebrities judge the county’s biggest and baddest cannonball contest ever! Participants can go solo or form a team of two to see who can get the judges to give them the highest score and be crowned the 2016 Cannonballapalooza Champ!
And, if that wasn’t enough, enjoy a two hour live concert for the community. While you are enjoying the music, the kids will be having a blast in the pool. A true community event!!
Tickets:
5K Only- $25 in advance/$35 day of event
Fun Run Only – $15 in advance/$25 day of event
Barbecue/Concert Only- $15 adults/$10 kids 12 – under
Super Ticket (Includes 5K or Fun Run/Barbecue/Concert) – Adults $35/Kids 12 – Under $20 in advance or $40 adults/$30 kids day of event
